I took this picture and started thinking about how I don’t think my outfit really matches my background. I liked the picture when I took it, but now it just seems … off? For the longest time, my look has been very dark, black, some might even say goth. Lately I find myself wearing, … *has to take a deep breath* …. pink.
So I guess this picture turned out being a representation of what is going on in my head, even more than I realized. I’m trying to find myself again. Not that I had lost me, but we all change over time and continue to evolve. I don’t think we are evolving into this ‘person’ we will one day end up being. We never really END up being any one thing. We aren’t a project with a completion date. We won’t be a finished person when we turn a certain age and then just stay that person til we die.
So I’m sort of mid-change when it comes to how I choose to express myself. My Lee really brings out the babygirl in me… that honestly I never realized existed, so I’m trying to figure out where the girly gear fits with the rest of me… the tattooed, tomboy who loves black, mohawks and metal.
